Instagram Shopping allows businesses to schedule product launches, run ads with product tags, host living shopping events, and much more.

Today, Instagram is making it even easier for businesses to thrive on its platform by introducing a new way to make purchases directly in chat. Every day millions of small businesses receive messages from their customers on social media. Direct messages from customers on social media inquiring about your products or services are more common than ever.

Let’s say you own a small bakery, and you have a customer that sends you a direct message on Instagram enquiring if you’d be able to make them a custom cake. With the new checkout feature, you’ll be able to collect customers’ order details and send them a link to compete for checkout directly from the same chat, securely via Meta Pay. Customers who purchase with a qualified business can track their orders and ask follow-up questions.
